HMS ColregsCards ("the App") is designed to help maritime students learn IRPCS/COLREGS regulations. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture
• Feedback and suggestions you submit through the app
• Poll votes for future feature development

Information collected automatically:

• Your learning progress and quiz scores (stored locally on your device and optionally synced if signed in)
• Basic device information for displaying relevant advertisements

How We Use Your Information

• To save and sync your learning progress across devices
• To improve the app based on feedback and feature votes
• To display advertisements (see Advertising section below)

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data to provide personalised ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising in your device settings.

Data Storage

• Learning progress is stored locally on your device
• If you sign in, your progress may be stored securely on our servers (hosted by Supabase)
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties

Your Choices

• You can use the App without signing in
• You can sign out at any time in Settings
• You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for maritime students and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the App.
